I have restarted my computer twice. If I have to reinstall, will someone refresh my mind on what all to save, like my config and tools. Thank you G, When I relocate my mcamx. At that point I get another crash report. At this point I'm back to X8 I reckon. It's been a while but I think your disc has a "repair install" that doesn't affect your current settings. Can anyone verify this? MC did create a stock workspace file after I moved it. That fixed half of the problem will stay open now , but when I select my Machine mill instant crash report I'll get with my dealer tomorrow.
I've been using Mastercam since X2 and never had anything happen like this before. The toolbars are different Ok, I think I may have misunderstood. I do use the design workspace I was talking about when I choose a Machine I get the Crash Open up a fresh version of X9 just by clicking on the icon sometimes this will reset stuff.
Ended up having to do a whole uninstall and reinstall. Something was hosed in my machine definitions. Luckily the custom ones I used were fine? Very strange, but glad to be back! I closed a drawing and when opening another mastercam opens and crashes b4 loading a drawing.
Anyone having this issue? Very frustrating researching and trying fix's. Very time consuming. MC appears to be working if I ignore the popup window.
I can move the model adjust parameters and even test the tool path. So why is this window popping up is the big question. Going to try a previous dot. I have seen that before. Ok, so for some weird reason every time I open X9 I get the MC has stopped working in about 5 seconds! What can I do besides reinstalling? I'm the Only person that uses this rig and I am the Admin I haven't made any major changes since yesterday?
